Palm Beach Gardens, FL - Former U. of Alabama golfer Michael Thompson shot a final-round 69 on Sunday, March 3, 2013 to claim his first PGA Tour victory at the 2013 Honda Classic at PGA National.
"I am so proud of Michael," Alabama head coach Jay Seawell said following Thompson's victory on Sunday. He has worked so hard and this is a great moment for him and his wife, Rachel. He has always represented Alabama golf with class."
Alabama coach Jay Seawell also coached Men's Golf at Augusta State University from 1998 to 2001.
