Area Director

Position:
Hired 2017 as Director of Coaches Ministry and was named Area Director of Columbia County in 2020.

Personal:
Married to Joan since November 1971 and they have 2 adult children and 8 grandchildren.

- Owner of Jay's Christian Supply, Martinez, GA for 25 years.

- Former GAFCA board member during 90's
- Director of Coaches Ministry for GAFCA from 2017-2020. Named area Director in 2020.

Position:
Hired as Area Director of Richmond County in January 2024.

- He has been married to his wife, Karen, for 26 years & they have 3 children.

Position:
Hired March of 2013 as an Area Representative serving McDuffie County.

- Lettered in Football in 1976 and 1977

- Married to LeVeta Grant for 38 years. They have one son, Julius. All three are USC grads.
Professional Work Experience:
- SC Vocational Rehabilitation 28 years. Retired in 2009.
- Assistant Pastor, Second Baptist Church, Columbia, SC. 2007-2014.
- Pastor, New Salem Baptist Church, Warrenton, GA. 2014-present.
- Owner, Wee Tots Learning Center, Thomson, GA. Family business for 26 years.

Nicolle Coker

- Nicolle has been married to Adam since 2005, and they are high school sweethearts. Both are Clemson graduates.
- They have 3 children: Garrett, Gabriel, and Sydney.
- The family attends Redeemer Church, Evans.
- She was born in Puerto Rico, and was raised in Charleston, SC.

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.

Ashley Walden

Personal:
- Married to Michael for 17 years and they have 3 daughters and 1 son.
- Ashley was born and raised in Augusta and was a Lakeside Panther. Michael graduated from Greenbrier and the kids are Harlem Bulldogs.
- Ashley and family are members at Grace Baptist Church, Evans.

Trisha Burks
Administrative Assistant
- Trisha has lived in Columbia County since 2002. She and her husband, Doug, have been married for 21 years and have two daughters.
- Doug and Trisha co-teach a "Newly Married" class at their church, Grace Baptist, and they also sing on the praise team together.
- Trisha's favorite verse is Deuteronomy 6:4-7 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Lauren Evens
Ambassador
Columbia and Richmond Counties
- Lauren grew up in Dacula, Georgia and was recruited to play softball at Augusta University. That is where she truly learned about FCA and served as a leader her Senior year of college. She also had the opportunity to serve overseas in Africa through nursing school.
- Lauren is engaged and getting married August 1st, 2026!
- Lauren works full time as a night shift nurse in the surgical trauma ICU.
- Lauren attends True North and Trinity Baptist!
- Lauren has a big heart for missions! She will continue to serve in the Richmond and Columbia County and is looking forward to what God does through this ministry.
